[Diaspora] Do you have a copy

I just received my copy here in Toronto (yes, I was hesitant to buy
through Lulu... what can I say, the "artisan product" argument
convinced me).
It's gorgeous. There was no smudging of ink on any of the pages in my
copy (I know that's a common complaint for Lulu books), and the
graphics all printed very crisply with no pixellation whatsoever. The
binding is very sturdy, albeit with a negligible amount of pinching at
the top and bottom of the spine; the only real print flaw -- and it's
uber-minor -- was a bit of excess printer's glue on the endpapers,
which made the first couple of pages stick together but was easily
removed with a tissue. The paper's a bit thin, but it's not
problematic in any sense.
As for the content, I'm pleased at how unexpectedly lovely the final
version is in a graphic sense. The cluster diagrams are nice (of
course), the spaceship and weapon line art is very well done, and the
few spot illustrations are a nice surprise. The tables and appendices
are very usefully laid out. Of course, I haven't read the book
through but I'm very pleased with my purchase and can't wait to
actually use Diaspora in play.
Great job, guys!
Jim
