[Diaspora] Another view out the window

With all the science fiction we see, whether models of CG or paintings, we
think we know what it's like out there. The fact is, it's both more amazing
and more mundane. The sun looks like, well, the sun. Brighter, sure, but
also familiar. The technology of the ISS proper is certainly advanced but,
again, familiar. Hoses, rivets, and stuff left exposed because it just
doesn't matter enough to encapsulate it. Utilitarian. It's white because
that reflects radiation well but is also cheaper than better alternatives.
It's altogether amazing and still pedestrian.
