[Diaspora] XKCD explains gravity wells

Lots of great ideas for Diaspora scenes in there -- like a place where the
well is so shallow you can escape with a bike and a ramp. Or achieve orbit
with a little less power. I seem to recall an sf short story about a war on
the moon where rifle bullets wound up in very low orbit, and you had to duck
every few hours as the last volley whizzed back around.
