Interesting to me (because of the psychological stories implied) is that it
might pay to put obstacles on the arc leading to GUILTY not to prevent
jurors from getting in but to prevent the judge from getting out. He's
already there and it would be a shame to lose that strong advantage early.
We could read it as modeling his prejudice and also the juror's negative
reaction to his obvious prejudice.
This could go all kinds of cool places. :D
