[Diaspora] How a planet gets used

This is a great colour-coded map of a densely populated planet (6
billion people!) showing how every part of the world is used by the
population -- or not, where it's left wild.

I found it counter-intuitive -- I would have thought our usage would
be more profound, though it's likely a great deal of the "barren"
space is barren because of us. Anyway, when we wax fantastical about a
"city-covered planet", paint that picture mostly brick red. That's a
very different place.
