Thank you for sharing this. This one image and caption leaped out at me:

http://inapcache.boston.com/universal/site_graphics/blogs/bigpicture/saturn_10_19/s15_PIA11665.jpg

"Cassini captured this image of a small object in the outer portion of
Saturn's B ring casting a shadow on the rings as Saturn approaches its
August 2009 equinox, on July 26, 2009. This new moonlet, situated about 480
km (300 mi) inward from the outer edge of the B ring, was found by detection
of its shadow which stretches 41 km (25 mi) across the rings. The shadow
length implies the moonlet is protruding about 200 meters, or 660 feet,
above the ring plane. If the moonlet is orbiting in the same plane as the
ring material surrounding it, which is likely, it must be about 400 meters,
or 1,300 feet, across. (NASA/JPL/Space Science Institute)"

I imagine this as being the first image players are handed by the GM before
telling them this "moonlet" has been detected broadcasting intermittently.
The characters are tasked with recovery and identification of what this
object is and its origin. It not an original start to an adventure (there
are countless movies and novels with the same basic plot) but the NASA photo
gives it just the touch of veritas that excites me.
