[Diaspora] Deluge

I made a little setting document that assumes no particular system. It's
called Deluge and it's released under a Creative Commons license, so you can
share it and use it for your own non-commercial projects and so on. I'm
posting about it here because, well, obviously FATE is a system always in
search of settings (hence the FATE mailing list) and Diaspora supports many
sub-settings internal to its premise, and so can leverage something like
this to elaborate a single world. Hence the Diaspora mailing list.

I have made Deluge available for a little less than seven bucks at Lulu <
http://www.lulu.com/content/e-book/deluge/8290918> but as I say, you can
share it around for free.

Deluge is our world a hundred and fifty years after the rain started and
never stopped. You play in your own home town, wrecked by the constant
deluge of rain and the new heat. It's basic "hard" post-apocalyptic survival
adventure, stringing together desperate efforts to rebuild civilization one
brick at a time. But there's a light (and therefore, in this constant rain,
a rainbow) too -- the characters you play are respected, effective people,
sometimes members of the a community and sometimes necessary loners, but
always part of the solution. If there is one.

Anyway, enjoy. Deluge is more an experiment than an earnest commercial
effort, so please feel free to treat it as casually as I am. There are a
couple of session write-ups at the VSCA skunkworks <
http://www.phreeow.net/wiki/tiki-index.php?page=Deluge> and more coming
because we seem to be playing the heck out of it. :D
