Hey everyone - my friends and I finally got around to generating a
cluster the other night, which I'm linking at my new-ish blog (which
is otherwise about my minis gaming, but hey, it's free storage).
Here's the address, feel free to pop over and give it a look and
comment if you want to:

Although the extended writeup is going to be over there, I'd like to
point out that we had a blast running the cluster gen mechanism. We
eventually wound up with a very tightly themed cluster, and there were
some very neat instances of both radically changing our initial
thoughts about a given world, as well as smaller, but pervasive,
changes that harmonized other worlds with the theme of the cluster.
And again, this overarching theme evolved fairly organically; we
didn't sit down with any grand organizing principle in mind, but by
the end of the session it was so cohesive that we actually had a lot
of fun making up the one world that intentionally wasn't going to fit
the cluster's theme. I don't think any of these things would have
arisen without the mechanical and conceptual framework of the cluster
gen system. So I guess here's one more datapoint to say it works
wonderfully; great job, Diaspora crew!
