The above link is a "spatial representation of every star within 14 light-years of the
Solar System in orthographic projection. There are 32 stars in this
region, including the Sun."

That is what space looks like if one were to try to fly less hyperspeed. 14 years away, going faster than physically possible (barring breakthroughs in science). Space is very, very empty. It's beautiful and scary.
