[Diaspora] How far is that?

Here is a magnificent graph showing how far away everything is from us,
using a logarithmic scale.

It's huge, so click with caution. One of the great things (for me) that it
illustrates is just how far away the Oort cloud objects are from us --
thousands of times further than Pluto, for example. That underscores
something cool about Diaspora's implicit setting -- because of the way the
two primary space technologies work -- reaction motors and the slipknots --
there are still places that are essentially unavailable to humans (at t3 and
lower anyway). But these places are mostly, technically, inside solar
systems! Other stars are accessible (within deep constraints) but the outer
reaches of each solar system are a mystery.
