Hi Cliff. No, Kurt Wiegel says he preferred the fantasy products for FATE
since pulp and thus the granddaddy SotC is not his cup of tea. He's pretty
excited about Dresden Files for urban fantasy gaming and Legends of Anglerre
for high fantasy and swords & sorcery. But no specific comparison between
the two.
I have heard remarks passed that Legends of Anglerre "fixes" the
organizational rules of Starblazer, but without details I don't know if
there's substance to the claim or just gamer griping. I'm certainly
interested in the possiblities of Diaspora-style social combat with
organizational rules: it might be a basis for a Cluster History mini-game.
