Repair is a good call, I think, for a skill that can be perverted to
criminal application. Couple it with a clever stunt or two and it will
really shine. In the same vein:

Agility
Alertness
Charm
Culture/Tech
Demolitions
Intimidation
Profession: con man/safecracker/etc.
Science (the anti-CSI!)
Stealth
Tactics
Vehicle (getaway guy!)
