Compels limit options. That's really all they do. For example, Han Solo is
trying to escape Imperial pursuit after leaving Hoth. The GM slides a fate
point forward. "It would be pretty darn *Cocky* of Han to fly the Falcon
into an asteroid field to shake those Star Destroyers."
