Because forums mean yet another site to visit to stay up to date,
rather than having the conversations delivered to my inbox where they
can be labelled, filed and read in comfort. So I would describe forums
as far less useable, readable, trackable and definitely not
user-friendly.

I much prefer push rather than pull technologies.
