Subsector mapping and generating software

Randomly generated subsector.

This map was generated by the perl program mapmaker from data generated by a subsector random generator, another perl program: subsector. The input data format that subsector uses is easily human readable (and generatable by hand of course): see for yourself.

Mapmaker generates SVG output, suitable for editing with Inkscape.

For a live example of output from the most recent version, have a look at the Maelstrom subsector.
